The UBC National Mentorship Program is designed to help members grow professionally and personally, developing new skills, knowledge, and capabilities, and to develop an understanding and appreciation of equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) within the UBC workplace culture.


Who Should Attend?



  • Apprentices & Journeypeople looking to enhance their mentoring skills and are interested in becoming effective mentors and mentees.

  • All Members Interested in supporting mentorship and EDIA in apprenticeship.


Steps to Completeing the Program Include:       



  1. Complete 3 Online learning modules. (Access on your UBC Member Portal )       

  2. Complete 1 day in-person practical workshop.       

  3. Become paired with a Mentor/Mentee by your Regional Project Coordinator.      

  4. Complete mentorship activities over six months.


* If you are interested in attending the 1 day in-person practical please complete the online learning modules first. That is a prequalification to the 1-Day session.
